The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are squaring off against villains old and new in the rebooted film series' upcoming sequelTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

A new trailer for the film released Tuesday provides a closer look at two characters who fans of the original 1987 cartoon will remember: Bebop and Rocksteady. Although the beefed-up warthog and rhinoceros have appeared in other versions of the franchise, including the 2012 animated series, this marks their feature film debut. The knuckleheaded villains seem to have gotten quite the makeover, at least in terms of attitude.

Instead of letting himself be the butt of everyone else's jokes, Bebop looks to have some snark about him. He gives as good as he gets when Michaelangelo makes a comment about his mohawk. "Oh, y'all got jokes, huh?" Bebop asks.

Gary Anthony Williams (The Boondocks) voices Bebop while WWE's Sheamus voices Rocksteady. Meanwhile, Megan Fox reprises her role as turtle confidante and intrepid reporter April O'Neill, and Will Arnett returns as Vernon Fenwick.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theaters on Jun. 3.
