Obama's Got Fsociety on the Brain in 'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Trailer

Want to have an extra dope second season 'Mr Robot'? Just add some Obama.

The revolution is only getting started as Mr. Robot returns for its second season. The hacker drama series returns in July and picks up right after the massive financial meltdown that ended the first season.

In the wake of the chaos surrounding the meltdown, President Barack Obama himself shows up in the trailer. He announces in a press conference, "There hasn't been anything like this in the past. This is going to be affecting our economy in ways that are extraordinarily significant."

The FBI have a suspect in mind, but it turns out to be Tyrell Wellick instead of Elliot Anderson. The new season will take a deep dive into the mysterious happenings of the three days prior to the meltdown, which Elliot apparently still can't remember.

Christian Slater returns as Elliot's deceased father and moral compass. "Remember the night of the hack? Remember what happened to you?" he asks in the trailer's opening. Of course he doesn't, Christian Slater. We just went over this.

In addition to the original cast, rapper Joey Bada$$ joins Mr. Robot as Elliot's talkative new friend. Fellow newcomer Chris Conroy will also be aboard for Mr. Robot's second outing, playing Derek, a man who’s apparently a big fan of Tyrell Wellick’s wife Joanna.

Mr. Robot premieres July 13 at 10/9 p.m. CST
