Trainspotting is now over 20 years, but still remains one of the greatest British films of all time. And ever since Irvine Welsh wrote the follow-up novel Porno, there’s been rumours of a sequel. Finally though, it was last year, with the main cast returning, and Danny Boyle returning to direct.
Now we know for sure it’s actually happening, as the first on-set footage has appeared —Ewen Bremner, who plays Spud, back on the streets of Edinburgh, looking a bit older but still just as much of a mess as he did back in the day. We’re hyped.
