We were hyped to hear earlier this year that Ashley ‘Bashy’ Thomas had been cast in the new Keifer Sutherland-less reboot of 24 — and now we get to see him in action.

24: Legacy is actually set in the same continuity as the original show, but without Jack Bauer or any of the other characters returning. Instead, it stars Corey Hawkins (aka Dr Dre in Straight Outta Compton) as an ex-Army Ranger who returns home, only to events in his past to come back to haunt him, and possibly lead to a terrorist attack on American soil (because that’s what always happens in 24). Bashy plays his estranged brother, sporting both a beard and an impressive US accent.

The show doesn’t air until early 2017, but the trailer has already got us excited.
