Since Marvel announced Benedict Cumberbatch would take the lead role in Doctor Strange, more developments in the star-studded cast have hinted at an epic upcoming film. Benedict Wong will play the sidekick conveniently named Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor will play the villain Baron Mordo, among other exciting announcements. New unofficial pictures from the set of Doctor Strange give us more to look forward to, this time in reference to Mads Mikkelsen's mysterious villain who sports some incredibly dope makeup.

Screen Crush reports that unofficial photos from the set of Doctor Strange were posted to Twitter yesterday, revealing some paramount details about Mikkelsen's aesthetic as one of the film's villains.

While the specifics of Mikkelsen's role have been kept on the down low, rumors place him as Dormammu, a Marvel villain who was banished from his dimension for craving matter, rather than pure energy like the rest of his fellow Faltine beings. Also, the makeup in these pictures strikes a similarity to Dormammu in the Marvel comics.

Other Doctor Strange cast members include Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, and Rachel McAdams whose role hasn't been disclosed but is rumored to play Night Nurse. Doctor Strange hits theaters November 4.
