There’s plenty of wannabe comedians and amateur comedy shows filling up YouTube, but the one that’s really cut through is Kayode Ewumi’s Hood Documentary. The spoof follows ‘hood celeb’ Roll Safe, and has been getting mad love online.
Now the waves he’s been making have paid off — BBC3 have picked up the show. It’s a natural fit for the now-online only channel, considering the success they’ve had with People Just Do Nothing, which also started on the internet. Plus, it’s great to see UK talent blowing up.
