Banking on childhood nostalgia and your adamant refusal of adulthood Disney has greenlit yet another live-action remake of a movie from your childhood. Disney, as you may or may not know, already has a live-action version of The Jungle Book premiering this Friday and also has a Emma Watson-starring Beauty and the Beast live-action movie in the works. The studio is now going forward with plans for a live-action Peter Pan, according toVulture.

It's a bold move from Disney considering the last live-action Peter Pan film, Pan, spectacularly tanked at the box office, reportedly losing Warner Bros. $150 million. The repercussions of which are still felt today as Warner Bros. reportedly moves to cut down on its number of film releases (also in part because of Batman v Superman.)

But Disney's too big to fail. It's already seen live-action success from Cinderella. It's even reportedly got a live-action Cruella de Vil origin story on the way with Emma Stone starring, because next to all of those precious puppies who could forget de Vil in 101 Dalmatians? And if that wasn't enough Emily Blunt might play Mary Poppins in a probably unnecessary sequel to the original.

Disney's got it all figured out. If there's one constant it's that you'll grow old, but Peter Pan won't.
