In the wake of Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warrencalling Donald Trump an idiot on Twitter, here’s another feel good story to warm the heart. A woman looking to let her family know about the birth of her child ended up accidentally texting a complete stranger instead. Things took a surprising turn of events when the wrongful recipients decided to pop in for a visit.
Deorick Williamsposted a few screen caps of the interactions on Facebook, and has since become an internet sensation. Williams was inadvertently added to a group text from a woman announcing the arrival of her baby. "We are at the hospital. Having a baby today! She has dilated to between 5-6," it read.
He quickly let her know of the mistake but ended up receiving an additional update and a picture to boot. That’s when he decided to join in on the happy occasion. "Well I don’t know y’all but me and the boys will be thru to take (a) picture with the baby."
Keeping true to his word, Williams showed up at the hospital with his brother and a gift for the newborn. We’re not sure what the gift was but it was received with welcoming arms. "What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this. You 2 are great guys and thank you for giving to someone you didn’t know," the woman wrote on Facebook. Sweet.
