Teen Mom starFarrah Abraham is walking back her allegation last week of being "almost raped" by an Uber driver, clarifying that the driver never made any physical contact with her during the ride. On Thursday, Abraham told listeners of her Farrah & Friends podcast that "an Uber driver almost raped me," Page Six reports. Adding that her "non-boyfriend" Simon Saran was forced to come to her aid by throwing the driver against the window of the vehicle, Abraham claimed the "Persian dude" then attempted to run after her.

"I got into the car and the gentleman was looking me up and down," Abraham tells Page Six in a new interview, clarifying her remarks in response to Uber's alleged insistence that the claim was fabricated. "Something was wrong with him, like he was mentally disabled." According to Abraham's most recent account, she ordered an Uber to pick her up from her hotel in Jericho. However, instead of simply picking her up in front of the establishment, Abraham alleges the driver told her to "walk down the road to his car" and then proceeded to stare at her as she entered the vehicle.

Feeling uncomfortable, Abraham says she got out of the car before Saran "got into an argument" with the driver. Following the driver’s complaint, Uber has allegedly banned Abraham from using their services in the future. "It could have escalated into a rape situation," Abraham tells Page Six of her original podcast statement of being "almost raped" by an Uber driver.

On Monday, Uber disclosed data on the number of rape and sexual assault complaints they receive from customers. In response to the "highly misleading" internal data first leaked to BuzzFeed News by a former employee, Uber issued a statement regarding their own analysis of such complaints. "Given that our business depends on accountability and transparency, we are now sharing that information publicly so that our riders and drivers have the facts and can judge for themselves," Uber said in a statement to BuzzFeed. According to Uber, the company has received five rape allegations and 170 sexual assault claims between December of 2012 and August of 2015.
