There's a 'Game of Thrones' Rave Happening in London on Easter Sunday, and Hodor Is DJing

Progressive house is coming.

There’s probably a lot of people who will be using the long Easter weekend to marathon the latest series of Game of Thrones. But you don’t want to spend the whole four days in front of the TV — you also want to go raving, right? Well luckily you can combine the two, as there is a Game of Thrones-themed rave happening in London on Easter Sunday.

Dubbed the ‘Rave of Thrones’, it’s taking place at The Bankside Vaults in the City,  a several hundred year-old venue on the Thames full of exposed concrete arches that could probably sub in for a King’s Landing banqueting hall. Most exciting, the night is headlined by Kristian Nairn, aka the guy that plays Hodor. Nairn is actually a pretty established DJ as well as being an actor, spinning progressive house at nights all over the world, and joining the likes of Walt Jr in the ranks of premium cable drama stars who also get behind the decks. Also scheduled to make an appearance is Finn Jones who plays Ser Loras Tyrell, and has just been cast as Iron Fist in Netflix’s next Marvel show.

The official website says that the night will be:

...a fully immersive experience, turning the cavernous tunnels under London Bridge into the Seven Kingdoms themselves, resplendent with Dothraki warriors, citizens of Dorne, the Unsullied and, of course, Kahleesi’s fire breathing pets, not to mention 3D mapped visuals, pyrotechnics and a light show to rival a castle siege. Littlefinger’s Brothel, the Icy North and other famous landmarks of Westeros will be recreated in an old train depot on the banks of the River Thames itself.

Tickets are £20, and you can get them here.
