Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar Score Is Now Helping Girl Scouts Move a Ton of Delicious Cookies

Earlier this week, Leo sadly caught some disses from an actual bear attack survivor.

In addition to hopefully helping everyone start really taking climate change seriously, Leonardo DiCaprio's laughably long overdue Oscar victory for The Revenant is also helping Girls Scouts sell a ton of presumably delicious cookies. DiCaprio, like many others that fateful Sunday, was photographically documented purchasing (and then enjoying) some Girl Scout cookies from Chris Rock's daughter and her friends.

Given that victory is a pretty fun thing to experience, experts the world over have continued to ponder one question following DiCaprio’s score: What’s the one (admittedly unhealthy) snack item that likely served as the sole source of inspiration for one of the finest cinematic performances in the long and illustrious career of Leonardo DiCaprio? Well, according to cookie lovers, that honor clearly belongs to Girls Scout Cookies. In fact, these Girls Scouts from New York are way ahead of you:

The Girls Scouts of Suffolk County made the poster themselves and promptly experienced an increase in sales, according to ABC News. "It made people stop at the table to read the sign, then we were able to ask them to buy cookies," troop members told reporters. "It's hard to say no to a Girl Scout."

The real lesson here? Eat more cookies, enjoy more victories.
