I think it's great when fans want to show their love for something, but I don't think it's that great when "showing your love" becomes "biting your favorite The Walking Dead stars."

In December of last year a The Walking Dead fan was waiting in line at the Walker Stalker Convention to take a photo with Norman Reedus, who plays the brutal and efficient Daryl Dixon on the show. According to Uproxx, the woman told Reedus she pretends she's married to him and then proceeded to bite him. Reedus was nice enough not to press charges, but the incident did prompt him to post a photo to his Instagram that featured him a tank top that said, "DO NOT BITE ME." A reasonable request, right?

Well, fans may have let him go, but that doesn't mean that other The Walking Dead stars are as lucky. In an interview with TV Guide, actor Tyler James Williams who plays Noah (I won't tell you what exactly happens to him) on the show, also revealed that he had his own biting experience.

"I got bit one time. I think it was like, ‘Haha. A joke!’ But it wasn’t funny. The last show I did, I was kind of ripped apart. So I think they thought it would be fun to reenact it, maybe. I just did not see it coming. They went in for a hug and bit me on the shoulder," he revealed.

I'm all for a reasonable and consensual amount of biting between people, but The Walking Dead fans really need to chill.
