While Marvel enthusiasts debate on whether they’re #TeamCaptainAmerica or #TeamIronMan, there’s a new force awakening. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o is in talks to star in a Sci-Fi thriller. People behind the project are also eyeing Ava DuVernay to direct.
Intelligent Life follows the story of a U.N. worker assigned to a department that represents humans should alien contact ever happen. He falls in love with a woman who turns out to be an alien. Nyong’o would play a woman in the middle of the alien contact.
The film is a rework of an earlier project by Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow and partner Derek Connolly, who both wrote the script.
