Remember back in October when Ashley Walters said that Drake had tried to use his influence to get a third series of Top Boy off the ground? It looks like Drizzy hasn’t given up hope. This morning he posted a still from the show on his ‘Gram, with the cryptic message: “Top Boy will rise again.”
That, on its own, doesn’t really mean anything. Maybe it he was just having a late-night Netflix binge, and wanted to re-up his love for the show. Or maybe, just maybe, it means he’s sorted something, and some news is coming soon. Earlier this week, co-star Kano said that he’d spoken to Walters about it, but nothing seemed to be on the horizon. Yet. So really, we don’t know anything. But we can always hope.
