Though Furious 7rightfully received a still-in-progress wave of love, the 2006 entry The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift didn't really land. Even with the seemingly unstoppable duo of Shad Moss (Bow Wow) and Some Other Guy, the sequel is a largely forgettable entry in an otherwise unstoppable franchise.
Painfully enough, we must now face the reality that it could have at least involved Channing Tatum. During a recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live, Tatum named his failed Tokyo Drift audition as the worst one of his career. "I wanted to go to Tokyo very badly," Tatum recalled painfully. "I stopped in the middle of the audition and I was like 'I think we're done, right? This is terrible.'"
As noted by Kimmel, this is a wonderful lesson for younger viewers. Whenever you're not really into something, just immediately give up.
