When gamers buy a fighting/'beat 'em up' game we can guarantee you that 9 times out of 10 they're not buying it for the plot, they're buying it to kick ass (be it a friend or some complete stranger) all in the name of good fun. Or so we thought, recently the 'beat 'em up' genre have included story based dialog in their games adding a bit more pathos for a section of  gaming that at times is very linear. Recent games such as DC's Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat have been successful in weaving an interesting narrative whilst maintaining the core principles of the gameplay and it looks like the new Street Fighter game is set to do the same.

This new trailer reveals very little about the Street Fighter V storyline except that everyone's is shocked that M. Bison has taken a page out of Mr. Burns' book and blocked out the sun. Why has he done that? Because he's evil that's why...

The trailer also revealed it's first batch of DLC  which will feature five veterans: Guile, Juri, Ibuki Alex and Balrog and one new character named Urien (which sounds a lot like urine doesn't it).

Street Fighter V comes out next month, February 16, exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
