A Danish teen is facing a fine after using pepper spray to fend off a sexual attacker with pepper spray. According to The Local, the 17-year-old told police a man in dark clothing tackled her to the ground and tried to take off her clothes. She was able to get away after using the defensive spray, but now faces legal consequences for her actions.
"It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely be charged for that," Knud Kirsten, a local police spokesman, toldTV Syd.
If this makes you see red, you’re not alone. Readers in the comment section of TV Syd’s story (which is not in English) have volunteered to pay for the possible fine. GoFundMe, anyone?
