As well as honouring some of the best video games of the year, the Games Award Show is an opportunity to tease the gaming community with new upcoming projects. Telltale have done exactly that, along with the announcement of an upcoming Batman game, they've released a trailer for The Walking Dead: Michonne.
Telltale, as most of you should know, have already gained success bringing the The Walking Dead universe to the platform of gaming, so it makes sense that they take on this new TWD series based on the character of Michonne, who is a firm fan-favourite in both the comic books and the TV series. The game will be in-line with the original comics, by Robert Krikman, and they have nabbed actress Samira Wiley (Orange Is The New Black’s Poussey Washington) to voice the samurai sword wielding badass.
The award-winning games developers are also currently working on an untitled Marvel game and follow-ups to their other TWD game and Game of Thrones.
The Walking Dead: Michonne will be out nextyear in February.
