Ever since the latest Street Fighter V trailer revealed the entire roster for launch day some of you may have noticed a certain demonic martial arts master's absence. Well it’s been revealed that iconic SF character Akuma will be appearing in Tekken 7 instead.

As some of you may, or may not, know this isn’t the first time these two rival fighting franchises have crossed paths, back in 2012 Namco and Capcom combined both franchises to form the highly rated Street Fighter X Tekken. However we have to say this reveal really pulled the rug from under our feet. Akuma looks every bit as bad-ass in the 3D arena of Tekken as he does in the Street Fighter series, by the looks of this trailer he also comes equipped with his move set from SF which includes the 'hard-to-pull-off-but-oh-so-rigged' finishing move ‘Demon Rage’.

Tekken 7 will be out in February 2016.
