The controversy was immediate.

An advertising company in New Zealand faced immediate backlash after unveiling their shockingly transphobic Christmas billboard featuring a reworked image of Caitlyn Jenner's iconicVanity Fair cover. The billboard reportedly read "I hope your sack is fuller than mine this Christmas. Merry Christmas from Cranium," with BuzzFeed confirming that it has since been removed.

In addition to rightfully heated commentary on the tastelessness of the billboard dominating Facebook, one woman shared what she claims is an email exchange with Cranium’s owner:

"We have removed our post and are now removing the sign tonight due to people taking offence," Phil said on the company's Facebook page. "It was not our intention to offend any people in the community/world. I as the owner have no feelings of discrimination to the gay or transgender community." The owner also said Caitlyn was "more than welcome" to stay at his home with his family, adding that he would "have a wine or a beer with her quite happily."

The company apologized once more just hours later, revealing they had since made a donation to Rainbow Youth, an LGBT group for young people in the region. Sadly, this move doesn't mark the first seemingly transphobic act involving Caitlyn Jenner. Just last month, the husband of a police officer killed on 9/11 sent an award back to Glamour after it was also given to Caitlyn Jenner in a maddening display of ignorance.
