Though he’s now armed with a beard and is likely pretty busy gearing up for his recently announcedHBO partnership, former Daily Show host and all-around legend Jon Stewart still has some entirely bullshit-free remarks on Donald Trump, a person who is in fact still very much running for President of the United States. Stewart was joined by a slew of other comedians, including Seth Meyers and John Oliver, at the 9th annual Stand Up for Heroes event in New York. Though surrounded by fellow talented voices of hilarious truth, Stewart took the prize for best Trump blast.

"When I was doing [The Daily Show], we liked to make jokes about him, because he’s hilarious and easily mockable," Stewart told the audience, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly. "We would mock him with things such as 'He looks like a bewigged boiled ham' or something like that. So he would tweet in the middle of the night 'Jon Stewart’s real name is Leibowitz. He’s a Jew. Why does he run away from his heritage?' That’s what I think most presidents would do. I remember Lincoln used to drunk-tweet 'Hey, emancipate this, you fuck!'"

Nailed it. However, Stewart’s most revealing statement on the current state of American politics came right at the end of his musings:

"I’m done with this shit. Done, done, done."

Well said.
