A year after a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike that nearly claimed his life, Tracy Morgan was back at the place he called "home" this week to host Saturday Night Live, thanks to his shining talent and the man Morgan referred to as"my Obi Wan Kenobi," SNL producer Lorne Michaels.

Morgan was back to form, maybe better than ever, but he also had a little help from his friends. Here's the best of what you missed from Morgan's triumphant return episode:

'30 ROCK MONOLOGUE'

It's hard to top Larry David playing Bernie Sanders in the cold open, but if you were a fan of 30 Rock, you'll understand why this is hands down the best moment of the night. Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jack McBrayer and Jane Krakowski reunite with "Tracy Jordan," who has suffered some kind of injury while "inseminating his pet box jellyfish."

DANCE STANDOFF

What happens when there's about to be a fight and someone says "you ready to tango," but one guy takes it wayy to literally? You get Morgan saying, "You don't wanna put a rose in my mouth?"

BRIAN FELLOWS  RETURNS

Of course they were going to bring back Morgan's signature sketch, but Morgan didn't have Pete Davidson and Aidy Bryant to play off of back when he was bringing the man with the 6th grade education and a lot of enthusiasm for animals to life 10 years ago. One of the best Brian Fellows sketches ever.

WEEKEND UPDATE: WILLY ON HALLOWEEN

Some genius realized that in a way, Kenan Thompson's "Willie" could really use some help from Morgan's sewer-dwelling life coach Woodrow. Actually, he's the only one who could really use some help from Woodrow, but what do you expect from a guy who's best Halloween memory has something to do with his dad "diddling" a jack-o-lantern.

TINA FEY ON 'PLAYBOY'

We really needed Tina Fey's perspective on the end of nudity in Playboy, which means young women will no longer move to L.A. in the hopes of maybe having "an early bird, fake five-way with a 100-year-old sex monster."
