October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual reminder to everyone that boobs are great and we should do what we can to protect them and the people who have them.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women worldwide and the second leading cause of death for women. According to the American Cancer Society, a woman is diagnosed with the disease every two minutes in the United States, and one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

The month of October is dedicated to reminding everyone that early detection is key in beating this disease, so we must be proactive in urging the women in our lives to perform self-check exams and report any abnormalities to a doctor immediately.

You can show your support for breast cancer survivors, those who are currently battling the disease, and women who have passed away after fighting by wearing pink throughout October and spreading awareness.
