With reality growing increasingly troubling and/or just generally boring, the November arrival of Fallout 4 can’t come soon enough. The fifth major entry in the Falloutfranchise, Fallout 4 takes place two centuries after a full-on nuclear war in Boston, meaning fans of the series will once again be able to satisfy their post-apocalyptic needs from the safety of their beer-stained sofas.

Since the game’s official announcement (following months of rumors) back in June, lovers and skeptics alike have attempted to predict Fallout 4's strengths and shortcomings before the Bethesda Softworks game was even available to the general public. The confirmed pros over at Gameranx have decided to offer a far more legit take on Fallout 4, generously compiling 10 must-know facts surrounding the post-apocalyptic party before it lands on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in just a few weeks.

Serious question: When society finally finds itself in the middle of the post-apocalyptic wasteland often depicted in Fallout entries (and Mad Max, I Am Legend, Man Down, etc.), will the medium of decidedly higher-art video games then shift their narrative focus to the mundane? Will post-apocalyptic humans play games centered on people arguing over who gets to take out the trash? I loathe / greatly anticipate the day.
