It’s almost Oct. 21, 2015, the date dynamic duo Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to in Back to the Future II when they head to the future to save Marty’s kids. As most movies did back in those days, Back to the Future II imagined a technologically advanced future, specifically one that would have flying cars, “self-lacing” sneakers, and hoverboards. Well, it turns out the future wasn’t so bright. College Humor decided to fact check, if you will, the movie by transporting an animated Marty and Doc Brown to the real 2015. The trip, which starts out with an excited Marty: “Who knows what kinds of technological advancements, and like, societal progress we’ve made in three decades!” ends in utter disappointment once he finds out 2015 is actually riddled with problems like global warming, terrorism, and, gasp, PED (performance-enhancing drug) use. Check out the dark and NSFW video above.
