Following the news on Tuesday that Cathriona White, Jim Carrey's on-again-off-again girlfriend of three years, had committed suicide, investigators have discovered prescription pills in White's house under Carrey's alias. TMZ reports that the pills were found next to the bed where White overdosed. The prescriptions included Ambien (a sleep aid), Percocet (a painkiller), and Propranolol (a blood pressure and heart medication), all prescribed by the same doctor.
Celebrities often use fake names when filling prescriptions to avoid scrutiny, so it's no surprise the pills were under an alias. Authorities don't know which drugs killed White—they're still waiting on toxicology reports.
White and Carrey apparently ended their relationship just five days before her body was discovered with a suicide note addressed to Carrey. Following her death, Carrey released a statement to ET saying that he was, "shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona...my heart goes out to everyone who loved and cared about her."
