The Late Show’s new host was spotted wearing a “Black Lives Matter” wristband during Friday’s show with interviewee Stephen King. It turns out that a New York-based performer and street artist by the name of Patrick Waldo had asked Stephen Colbert to wear the bracelet during an audience Q&A session prior to the show, the New York Daily News reports. “I stood up and nervously told him I’m a longtime fan,” wrote Waldo on Instagram. “Then I told him I’ve been involved in the Black Lives Matter movement for the last year.”

While it’s cool that Colbert supports the “Black Lives Matter” movement, it’s even cooler that he takes the time to listen to (and do favors for) his fans and audience members.
