We're a little more than two months away from Michael B. Jordantaking over the Rocky franchise, and today we're premiering the second trailer for Creed. This time around the footage is more plot-driven, revealing Adonis Johnson has as much to offer Sylvester Stallone's Rocky Balboa as vise versa. It's Rocky who visits Adonis in jail and puts him on the path to fighting legitimately and on a major stage ring. But Adonis also gives Rocky something to fight for when faced with his own medical problems.

Of course, Adonis has another looming figure in his boxing career. His father was the Rocky series' great Apollo Creed, a fact Rocky, his opponents, and even his mother keep reminding him with motivations of inspiration, intimidation, and warning, respectively.

Watch the second Creed trailer above, and look out for the movie in theaters Nov. 25.
