Forbes has ranked Robert Downey Jr. the world's highest paid actor, once again, but the rest of the list is a little more surprising.

If you're wondering who the most paid actor in Hollywood is, let's just say that Robert Downey Jr. probably has almost as much money as Tony Stark at this point.

Forbes released its annual ranking of the world's highest paid actors this week, and Downey topped the list with a fat $80 million income over the past year, mostly thanks to his piece of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which topped $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office.

Downey wasn't any kind of surprise, of course, but there were some surprises on the list that make sense when you think about it. Such as No. 2 Jackie Chan, who made $50 million. Yeah, his star power in the U.S. isn't what it was 15 years ago, but he's a massive star in China, which has a population of 1.3 billion people.

Then there's No. 3, Vin Diesel, who hasn't cracked this list in a while, but got a giant boost out of Furious 7 and earned a reported $47 million. No. 4 Bradley Cooper ($41.5 million) and No. 5 Adam Sandler ($41 million) rounded out the top five, proving that money doesn't discriminate between those who make great or terrible movies.
