Shannen Doherty, best known for her iconic roles on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed, has revealed she has breast cancer. In March of this year, a doctor's visit ended with the revelation that the actress has "invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node."
The cancer reportedly spread during 2014, during which Doherty was uninsured after her former business manager ignored invoices for premium payments for Doherty's SAG insurance. According to TMZ, Doherty has already ended the partnership with the business manager and recently filed a lawsuit, citing the doctor's assessment that an earlier diagnosis would have prevented possibly drastic measures of treatment.
Earlier this year, Doherty reunited with her Charmed co-star Holly Marie Combs for the reality mini-series Off the Map with Shannen & Holly. The series, which aired on Great American Country, followed the two as they journeyed across the southeastern United States.
