2013’s reboot/origin story Tomb Raider successfully made Lara Croft relevant for the first time since the 90s, and turned the franchise into a major player again. And after that, there are a lot of eyes on the sequel. The Xbox One-exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider is set to drop in November, but a new demo was shown at last week’s Gamescom event, which Microsoft have now put the video of online.
It looks pretty great. It starts off with Lara driving through Syria, then getting blown off the road by a helicopter, then sneaking around caves and finally nearly getting washed away by a waterfall.
