Leonardo DiCaprio will stop at nothing to bag an Oscar. He’s already got The Revenant, but if that doesn’t do the trick, here comes yet another team up with Martin Scorsese for Devil In The White City. Adapted from Erik Larson’s The Devil In The White City: Murder, Magic And Madness At The Fair That Changed America, DiCaprio will play Dr.HH Holmes—described by Deadline as a “19th century equivalent of Hannibal Lecter"—an infamous Chicago serial killer thought to have killed as many as 200 people during the 1893 World’s Fair. Holmes would trap guests in his hotel, The World’s Fair Hotel, where he tortured, killed, and dissected them, even selling off skeletons for scientific study.
