Wesley Snipes was at Comic-Con today to promote his new action-packed Las Vegas drama, The Player, which debuts on NBC on September 24. But one can imagine the real question on the minds of those who attended his panel: after the wildly successful 1998 vampire hunter movie that launched two others and a TV series, will there be a Blade 4? In an interview with Deadline, Snipes talked about the possibility of reviving the Blade franchise and, perhaps even more exciting, the possibility of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When asked directly about whether or not a fourth Blade movie will be made, Snipes said the project is controlled by Marvel, and that he doesn't know where it stands on their list of priorities. But, he added that he has been in talks with the studio. "[We] did have a really productive and a wonderful meeting and we discussed a number of things," he said.

Snipes also suggested that he might work with Marvel in some other capacity down the line:

None

Who knows—maybe somewhere in our future, there's a vampire hunter superhero waiting for us.
