KFC buckets don’t really need to be high tech. they just need to be made of cardboard and hold chicken. Anything more is just frivolous, yo.

But KFC Canada are going next level, to celebrate 60 years of being in the country. They’re doing something called ‘Bucket Science’, and their first project is a KFC Bucket with a Polaroid-style photo printer in the bottom. You can send a photo from your phone to the bucket via Bluetooth, and it prints it off there and then.

It’s just a prototype right now, and there’s now word of them ever being available to the public. Or how they’d stop you getting the photos covered in chicken grease.
