Oh, Florida. I love you almost as much as I love Texas. You most likely recall the arrest of the next-level Florida couple currently waving the Florida state flag (is it a photo of Jeb Bush wearing a YOLO shirt?) in light of their fondness for very public acts of sexual bravery. As previously reported, 20-year-old Elissa Alvarez was sentenced in May to a reasonably mild time served — though, possible appeal notwithstanding, she would still have to register as a sex offender due to the fact that a three-year-old reportedly witnessed the honorable display.
Jose Caballero, Alvarez's 40-year-old counterpart, has now been sentenced to 30 months in prison for his half of the couple's reportedly lengthy copulation sessions. If math is currently escaping you, Caballero's 30-month sentence comes out to two and a half years spent behind bars — making this quite possibly the most expensive lay of all time for everyone involved.
Caballero's lengthy sentence, which — like Alvarez — also includes a sex offender registration requirement, stems from his previous legal shortcomings. According to the AP, Cabellero previously served eight years for a cocaine trafficking charge.
