In case you've missed it, Netflix is currently in the middle of an impressive winning streak. Orange is the New Black helped solidify the streaming platform's presence in the TV pantheon, while House of Cards became an equally viable social media presence. Though forthcoming Netflix originals from Kevin Smith and Adam Sandler will most certainly soil any favor the streaming platform has cultivated, the impending arrival of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp eases the pain.

As previously reported, the limited 8-episode series is a prequel depicting — naturally — the first day of camp at the infamous Camp Firewood. The new teaser (above) wears its vintage VHS stylization with pride, subtly building the hype in the form of a hazardously optimistic TV ad. First Day of Camp will surely benefit from its stacked cast — including Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Jon Hamm, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo, Judah Friedlander, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, Michael Showalter, and more. Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp debuts July 31.

Hey, Netflix. If you're reading this — please reconsider those aforementioned Sandler and Smith projects. Thanks.
