The Video Game Hall of Fame’s First Inductees Include Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros.

Do you agree?

Video games have finally gotten their own hall of fame and its first list of inductees—a list we are in no way responsible for, so don’t threaten us—have been picked. The World Video Game Hall of Fame, located at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY, accepted nominations from the public and whittled down the nominees to fifteen and eventually the final six inductees. The first hall of famers are Pong, Tetris, Super Mario Bros., Pac-Man, Doom, and World of Warcraft. The top fifteen included classics like The Legend of Zelda and The Oregon Trail. If you’re pissed off, do something about it. Next year’s nominations are already being taken.
