Earlier this month, speculation surrounding a possible Indiana Jones sequel and/or reboot grew legs of reality with news of Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy more or less confirming its eventual existence. According to Collider, this eventual existence might very well include the return of director Steven Spielberg and the debut of Chris Pratt — who is definitely not that guy from Parks & Recreation.

Of course, the idea of a Pratt / Spielberg reboot of Indiana Jones is perfectly adequate if not painfully logical. Consider, if you will, the possibility of, say, Anna Kendrick as the cocky, whip-wielding archaeologist. Through the powers of parody, you no longer have to imagine such cinematic magic — you can simply view a brief glimpse above. The video, released to promote NBC's forthcoming Red Nose Day special, showcases Kendrick as 'Indianna Jones' on the hunt for the Holy Grail.

Parody status and all related non-seriousness aside, this should actually be a real movie — so someone tell Chris Pratt it's just not going to work out.
