Ironically, a man with the last name "Bacon" was arrested in New Jersey earlier this month following a fight that erupted over sausage. Sausage.
NBC Chicago reports that police were summoned to a Madison, N.J. home during the early hours of May 12. According to NJ.com, an officer with the Madison Police Department learned that 19-year-old Thomas Bacon attacked someone else present in the residence for taking the final piece of sausage.
Bacon was released after being charged with simple assault in an incident that was not worth the hassle. It's unknown if he has a lawyer, and this stunt will likely cost more than buying more bacon would've.
