Hulu has busted out the defibrillator to save The Mindy Project's life. After being canceled by Fox just a week ago, the show will return for a 26-episode season on the streaming service, Deadline reports. Hulu has the option to pick up even more episodes but doesn't have to do so until the not-yet-announced season four premiere date. Old episodes of The Mindy projects were already exclusive to Hulu.
"I am thrilled The Mindy Project has found a new home on Hulu, where so many of our fans are already watching the show," Mindy Kaling told Deadline.

This marks the second time The Mindy Project has been revived after an attempt on its life. NBC made a script order for the show but declined to go any further. Eventually the producers were able to get a pilot order and a full series from Fox.
