And just like that, after cutting a whole slew of shows, Fox announces two new shows for its 2015-2016 slate. The network will be adding Lucifer, based on the DC Comics characters, and Minority Report, based on the Steven Spielberg movie from 13 years ago. (You can feel old now, you're welcome.)

Variety describes the plot of Minority Report, which will feature Stark Sands, Meagan Good, Wilmer Valderrama, and others:

The project from Amblin, Paramount Television and 20th Century Fox TV, inspired by the 2002 feature film, picks up 10 years after the end of pre-crime in DC when one of the three pre-cogs struggles to lead a normal human life, and remains haunted by visions of the future when he meets a detective who may help him find a purpose to his gift

Spielberg will also exec produce. Lucifer, on the other hand, is a supernatural drama about, well, Lucifer:

“Lucifer” from Warner Bros. TV, DC Comics and Jerry Bruckheimer Television, stars Tom Ellis as the title character, described as being bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, a.k.a. Lucifer, causing him to leave his throne and abandon his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he helps the LAPD punish criminals.

Sounds like fun! Lucifer joins a whole host of DC Comics shows on-air—the CW's The Flash and Arrow have both been renewed, and Fox's Gotham is still going strong. We cannot say the same for some other shows, though.
