While the world tries to convince David Lynch to return to the Twin Peaks reboot, the avant-garde filmmaker can just sit back and eat off of his coffee brand. David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee has a new ad, and it's exactly as weird as you'd expect. What's surprising is that it wasn't made by Lynch himself. Andrew Parkhurst created the odd spot that tests Lynch's brew on robots. It seeks to answer the ancient, existential question, "Is organic, fair trade coffee too lit for robots?"
Lynch previously made a four-minute commercial for his coffee brand that stars a Barbie in the palm of his hand. It's even more bizarre than the robot ad because you can't out bizarre David Lynch. And now I need to know if this coffee tastes as bold as his filmmaking is.
