A 15-year-old boy riding the L train in Brooklyn was jumped, beaten and robbed yesterday—naturally, a bystander caught it all on video. In what police are calling a gang attack, the teenager was first attack on the train, and he tried to escape at the Atlantic Avenue stop. The assailants followed him and grabbed his phone, pants and shoes before leaving him lying on the platform.

Bystanders called 911, and he was taken to the hospital and treated for head injuries. As of Saturday, May 16, police are apparently still looking for the suspects. "What is happening nowadays is a group of teens will walk up to another group of teens," community advocate Tony Herbert told the New York Daily News, "whether they be two or more, and ask what gang they reppin, then in a flash of a second the assault begins."
