Travers Beynon, known as Australia's Hugh Hefner, calls himself "The Candyman" and he leads a life of decadence, women, sports cars, and booze, according to the New York Daily News.
On Instagram, Beynon frequently posts photos from his multimillion-dollar "Candy Shop Mansion," where women who've auditioned to be his "angels" pose for photos, sometimes as furniture. There's this photo where women serve as chairs and tables for a game of chess. (How civilized!) The caption: "Success is using the same stones thrown at you to build your Empire."
He has also posted photos of walking his wife Taesha on a leash, and with people eating food off her.
Taesha's grandparents have spoken out about Beynon's "borderline cult," and expressed concern for their four great-grandchildren. Graham Appleby and his wife Yvonne have said they were not invited to Taesha's wedding, or to see their great-grandchildren.
Beynon has said that he posts pictures of his mansion to promote his tobacco company (duh, you guys) and create "a Disneyland adults could enjoy," that has all the "hysteria [of] 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.'"
So, thanks for ruining Willy Wonka and Disneyland for the rest of us, Beynon.
