Alex Trebek has been the man with all the answers since 1984 when he started hosting Jeopardy. After 3 decades of watching him know everything about everything, we are just learning where he found all of his answers.
During a radio interview with Howard Stern, Trebek told a tale of eating a few too many pot brownies at a party and subsequently taking a weekend-long trip. He woke up 3 days after consuming the edibles.
Trebek tells Stern that he was never into marijuana on the reg, but I think that we can safely attribute the success of his entire Jeopardy career to that one enlightening night of chocolaty highness. Thank you, trivia gods, for leading him to that party.
