The Avengers: Age of Ultron press tour is turning into a little bit of a shit show. First there was Robert Downey Jr. walking out of an interview when the questions freaked him out, and now you've got Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner brewing up a Twitter storm by calling Avengers character Black Widow a "whore" and "slut" in their own interview.

After a bunch of people called them out for being misogynistic slut-shamers both of the actors' publicists issued apology statements, according to USA Today.
From Evans' camp:
"Yesterday we were asked about the rumors that Black Widow wanted to be in a relationship with both Hawkeye and Captain America. We answered in a juvenile and offensive way that rightfully angered some fans. I regret it and sincerely apologize."
From Renner's people:
"I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone. It was not meant to be serious in any way. Just poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour."
