A familiar face on both the big screen and Nick Cannon's Wild'n Out, comedian DeRay Davis is finally stepping out with his own show, Joking Off, on MTV2. He hosts the 30-minute game show that marries the worlds of social media and improv comedy. The cast is rounded out by a team of comedians, like our good friends Desus and The Kid Mero. The mission: avoid getting joked off the stage.

DeRay stopped by Complex to explain the premise of his new show, and during the discussion he shared what bothers him most about the new age of social media. The comedian also reminisced about the time before camera phones and a certain Miami catfishing incident.

Check out the interview above, and tune into Joking Off on Wednesday nights at 11/10c.
