What if Selina Meyer starred in a psychological drama? Julia Louis-Dreyfus might be starring in an American remake of the hugely popular Swedish movie Force Majeure

The original film, directed by Ruben Ostlund, was nominated for best foreign film at this year's Golden Globes, and won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival

The darkly funny Force Majeure follows the story of a beautiful, blonde Swedish family that experiences an avalanche while vacationing in the French Alps. Scary—except the natural disaster comes and goes without doing much damage. Instead, the film focuses on the parents' actions during the crisis and the shaken family dynamics afterwards.

No director or writer has been named yet, but considering the praise that the original film has received, and the fact that JLD might have a hand in the remake (she's rumored to be on board as a producer, too), you won't want to miss it.

Starring in a heavy psychological drama might be a little out of her comfort zone for Dreyfus—even her lowest moments as the abrasive Selina Meyer in Veep are still laugh-out-loud funny. But if her previous performances in dramas like 2013's Enough Said are any indication, she'll probably crush it. What can't she do?
