After years of stalled development the Preacher pilot is really picking up steam this week. AMC recently announced casting Ruth Negga as assassin-for-hire Tulip O'Hare, and now it's found its Arseface in Ian Colletti. The 18-year-old actor has to be the only person to have appeared on both Blue's Clues and The Sopranos. He most recently worked on Rake, a Fox show canceled after one season.

Arseface is a boy who's face is left disfigured and with a severe speech impediment from a failed suicide attempt. Raised by an abusive sheriff father, he shoots himself in the face with a shotgun to emulate his idol, Kurt Cobain. Following the suicide attempt, he becomes stubbornly upbeat, even to his father who will no longer speak to him.

In December AMC ordered the pilot produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who have been working on the project for seven years. The two will also direct the pilot.
