Revving up ardent fans of The Hunger Games isn’t hard to do, which is exactly why those very fans managed to get THG trending today after a buzzed about deleted scene from Mockingjay: Part 1 between Peeta, pre mind control, and President Snow was released. In the scene you get a sit down between the two where Snow applauds Peeta for his anti-war stance saying “You know the difference between reality and destructive adolescent fantasies.” Those fantasies being the impending rebellion led by Katniss, whom  Snow calls “impulsive,” making Peeta the level headed one and ideal “voice of reason” to dissuade Panem from a civil war. Only Snow makes it clear that Peeta has no choice in the manner (if he wants to return to his family)—a chilling foreshadowing of things to come. Poor Peeta had no idea what was coming.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 2 will hit theaters Nov. 20.
